Learn how to detect breast cancer early

breast cancer movieJoin the InsideOut Workshop, organised by Guardian Health & Beauty, tomorrow.
 
Highlights include a talk by Dr Yong Wei Sean – a senior consultant in the department of surgical oncology at the National Cancer Centre Singapore – on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, and how screening and early detection can save lives, and are crucial in the treatment of the illness.

Another highlight is a presentation by Ms Jenny Lee of HSBC Insurance Singapore. She will address the essential issue of insurance that covers high-risk illnesses and the cost of medical fees.

Attendees will also get to see a screening of Love Cuts, the homegrown movie starring Zoe Tay. In the movie, her character battles breast cancer, but manages to inspire the people around her.

The workshop will be held at Shaw Lido Cineplex 1 from 9,30am to 12.30pm. It is limited to a maximum of 750 attendees and the cost of the workshop is $5 per person.
