Managing the side effects from Radiotherapy (RT) and Chemotherapy (CT) The side effects of RT and CT are many.  As survivors, we will need to learn how to manage and cope with them.

Nutritional needs after cancer treatment What food should we eat after treatment? Is there any food that we should avoid? Come and find out all about nutritional needs from the speaker.

TCM Wellness - Early treatment and prevention - Occurence, further development and relapse Through proper diet, medication and healthy lifestyle, learn the TCM holistic approach of health maintenance.

Members Sharing - Exercises Learn from fellow survivors the exercises they employ to keep themselves fit. A demonstration session by these survivors will accompany their testimony.

Understanding Chemotherapy What is chemotherapy? How does it aid in dealing with nose cancer? These are important questions. The speaker will give us an insight and awareness into chemotherapy and its role in cancer treatment.

Hypothyroidism and other hormonal alterations that are associated with NPC A side effect that are not often well addressed.  The speaker will provide us with an awareness of what these side effects are and how to manage and cope with it.

Members Sharing – Oral and Dental Care Many survivors are facing issues with both oral and dental care after treatment due to the side effects of RT.  Some survivors will share their story and how they cope with it.

Overcoming Fear
(Mental Health)
After treatment, many survivors are still living with the fear of cancer in their daily life.  Any sign or symptoms will case them to worry affecting their mental health.  How can we deal with this?

NPC Support Group Year End Party A special day set aside only for nose cancer survivors and their caregivers to come together in a time for sharing and bonding food, games and other activities to mark another year of health.
