Q. What is the concept behind Health Xchange ? A. Health Xchange portal is an interactive Health and Lifestyle Portal developed by SingHealth that aims to help to improve health information to the general public, at the same time provides an interactive forum platfrom for members to share their health concerns and tips. |

Q. Can I link to Health Xchange articles ? A. Please send us an email if you wish to cross link our article, we will review your site before giving the right to link. Please view the Terms and Conditions of use for Health Xchange.
Q. Can I RSS articles from Health Xchange ? A. Yes. The Health Xchange Web portal has enabled RSS syndication, this allows you to view newly created articles and news without visiting the site daily. You will just need to click on the RSS feed on the selected section to enable the function.

Q. Why should I register as member ? A. In order to post any comments on the various forum threads, the administrator will require you to be registered as a member. Registration is FREE, and you get access to do the following:
• Post new threads • Reply to other peoples’ threads • Edit your posts • Receive special invitation to events
To register, you will need to specify a username and password, and a valid email address. Entering your email address will not leave you open to “spam”. Health Xchange have been configured to send you the final part of the registration process by email, so you must ensure that the email address that you provide is valid and working.
Q. How do I change my information on my profile ? A. You can alter any information on your profile, except your username. Once you have registered your username, it becomes your permanent username. In extreme circumstances, you may request the administrator to change your username, but this will require a good reason to do so.
Q. I lost my password, what can I do? A. If you forget your password, you can click on the “ Forget My Password” link on the main page. This will bring up a page where you should enter your registered email address, and an email will be sent to that address instantly, with instructions for resetting your password.

Q. Can I post to the forum without registering as a member ? A. No. Only registered users are allowed to post comments and queries to the forum discussions. Please click here to register as a member. |

Q. Can I advertise my Products or Services in the forum ? A. We do not allow buying or selling or products and services through the forum. It is served as an online channel for members to share and discuss their view. Our moderator will constantly monitoring the forum and will remove all listing on products/services in the forum.
Q. I saw an offensive posting. Who should I report the abuse to ? A. Please email our forum moderator should you see an offensive/ abusive posting. We will review it swiftly.
Q. Can I edit my post ? A. You will be able to edit and delete your posts. Note that the administrator can disable this ability as he desires.
Q. What are moderators? A. Moderators oversee specific forums. They generally have the ability to edit and delete posts, as well as move threads. In Health Xchange, we have pre-selected our moderators especially for Lifeline section.
Q. Why have some of the words in my post been blanked ? A. Certain words may have been censored by the administrator. If your post contain any censored words, they will be blanked out like this ***** . |

Q. I have submitted a lot of questions, but they are not being answered ? A. Due to their busy work schedules, our panel of specialists may not be able to answer all questions submitted. We will try our best to answer at least 30 questions per session. The main selection criteria will be based on the popularity and relevance of the questions submitted.
Q.Can I suggest a topic to be feature in the “ Meet The Specialist” section ? A. Yes. You may do so by emailing your suggestion to the “Meet The Specialist”. Please email to administrator@healthxchange.com.sg |

| Support Group |

Q. Can I start my own support group ? A. Please email to our forum moderator if you are interested to start your own group. Our goal is to help ensure that such support groups are developed by people who have an understanding, empathy and sincerity to help others. Our preference is for the support group to be founded by our ex-patients, caregivers or anyone that is directly involved in the illnesses before, whom we would be more familiar with.
Q. Who should I contact if I want to recommend a support group? A. Please email your recommendation to the forum administrator. He/She will assess the suitability of the support group. |
