26/07/2012 | My brother is on peritoneal dialysis and he once woke up in the middle of the night complaining of a severe stomach pain. My family rushed him down to the nearest hospital— the SGH A&E ward— to treat him. Even at such a late hour my brother received nothing but professional care from the nurses on night shift. They worked together with speed and precision to admit my brother and connect him to the dialysis machine. Within an hour, his pain had subsided and he was snoozing peacefully.
