Top cancer-fighting foods includes:

1) Apples
contain flavonoids and polyphenols which help fight cancers

2) Asparagus
are full of cancer-fighting compounds like selenium as well as vitamins A and C
   
   

3) Avocados
are rich in vitamins, dietary fibre, potassium, folic acid and copper

4) Broccoli
contains isothiocyanates which have been shown to encourage the body's production of cancer-fighting enzymes

5) Potatoes
provide fuel for the body and are rich in immunity-boosting vitamin C
6) Pumpkins
contain alpha-carotene, a strong antioxidant that boosts immunity
   
7) Red beans
have a high antioxidant rating and can protect cells from free radicals which cause cancer
8) Turmeric
