Ingredients: 4 Servings
- 800 g chicken (remove skin, cut into pieces)
Marinade
- 25 g garlic, ground
- 1 thumbsize piece of ginger, ground
- 25 ml lemon juice, or juice of half a lemon
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 4 tbsp low fat yoghurt, whisked
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 tsp margarine
Method:
- Mix the marinade ingredients together.
- With a sharp knife, make shallow cuts on the chicken.
- Rub chicken with marinade and set asiade for 30 minutes
- Preheat oven at 180 °C.
- Brush oil on a baking tray.
- Place chicken on the tray and put small dollops of margarine on each piece of chicken.
- Bake chicken for about 25 minutes or until done.
- Remove from oven and serve hot.
