Learn how to recognise the symptoms of a stroke and what you should do if someone you know has a stroke. Remember the acronym FAST:
F – Face. Is the face drooping on one side? A – Arm. Can the person lift both arms? S – Speech. Is the speech slurred? T – Time is of the essence for a stroke patient.
It is important to get the person to the hospital as soon as possible.
